Stewart Coffin is up to now the puzzledesigner of the world, beginning since abaut 1960 he designed more than 200 different puzzledesigns, better named as art objects, unusual and unique; after his first designs in epoxy, a memory of his former job as designer for fiberglas canoes, he changed at about 1970 to a production of his designs in wood and during an exhibition the slogan of " sculptural art that comes apart" was born there. So he started 1971 selling his wooden designs; all this time he didn`t stop presenting new designs and he deserves due respect for his stimulation of so many other woodworkers to produce his designs without any jealously or secretiveness. In respect for his "puzzling life" he got The Yoshigahara Award during the IPP 26 in Boston, in my opinion the best choice for that award;
