description: made from the upper part of an ash-tree with more than 130 years, complete handwork within two years and called “mother of all ash-trees. For the production Josef Pelikan had to order many different working tools, especially some pieces from UK.The grain is so strong that everybody means it is made from olivewood.
significance: Due the fact that after the sudden car accident Josef Pelikan bequeathed a lot of debts on his house and workshop this sculpture will be the onliest hope for the family ( wife and daughter). If somebody will know any interested person for that sculpture ( banc house- museum -collector ) please give a short information to B.Schweitzer@t-online.de
