a tangramlike 2-dimensional layerpuzzle, designed by the old greek mathematician Archimedes; Bill Cutler (USA) found 536 different solutions for a square. You can also build some animal shapes, described by the roman poet Ausonius ( 340 a. Chr.). Definitely the oldest puzzle described in the world, lokk at : New York Times 12/14/2003. I used that puzzle as my exchange IPP 1997 in San Francisco
